UK FRESH '26' – A Historic Celebration of Hip Hop & Electro Culture On Saturday 7th November 2026, at 229 London, Street Sounds proudly presents UK Fresh '26', celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the legendary UK Fresh '86', the landmark event that helped establish Electro and Hip Hop in the United Kingdom. Join us as we reunite pioneering artists, original B-boys and Fly Girls, DJs, breakers, writers and fans to celebrate the music, dance, art, fashion and spirit of a movement that changed popular culture forever.  This is more than a concert...it's a celebration of Hip Hop & Electro heritage and a unique opportunity to relive one of the most important moments in UK music history. JUST-ICE – THE GANGSTER OF HIP HOP Just-Ice was there at the original UK Fresh '86’ and 40 years later, we had to bring him back for UK Fresh '26’! One of Hip Hop's most distinctive and uncompromising MCs, Just-Ice brought his formidable presence to the Wembley Arena stage in 1986 and became part of UK Fresh history. Anyone who has ever witnessed Just-Ice live knows what to expect: raw energy, commanding presence and an intensity that is absolutely electric. Forty years on, Just-Ice returns to the UK Fresh stage. M.C. CHILL – UK DEBUT For the very first time, Cleveland's pioneering M.C. Chill is coming to the UK! For the Street Sounds generation, M.C. Chill need’s little introduction. His records featured on the legendary Street Sounds Electro albums during the 1980s, becoming anthems to a generation of British Electro and Hip Hop fans. Yet, despite the impact his music had here, M.C. Chill has never performed in the UK…until now. UK Fresh '26 will finally bring M.C. Chill face-to-face with the British fans who have been listening to his music for more than four decades. Forty years of waiting. One historic UK debut. M.C. A number of you have asked whether it would be possible to spread the cost of your UK Fresh ’26 tickets, so we are delighted to introduce a Payment Plan to make it easier for you to be part of this historic event. Secure your ticket with just a £20 deposit, with the remaining balance spread over two further payments in September and October. To take advantage of the Payment Plan, simply email us at: ukfresh26@streetsounds.co.uk Please don’t worry about losing your place while waiting for us to reply. As soon as we receive your email, your name will be added to our Payment Plan ticket list and your ticket allocation reserved, subject to availability. We will then contact you with details of how to pay your £20 deposit, which secures your ticket(s) and the dates and amounts of the remaining payments. UK FRESH ‘86’: On 19th July 1986, the United Kingdom witnessed a landmark moment in music history – the first and, at that time, the largest and most significant live UK Electro/Hip Hop event ever staged. UK FRESH '86', organised and presented by Street Sounds and Streetwave as part of Capital Radio's Music Festival and hosted by the legendary Mike Allen, brought together many of the world's leading Hip Hop and Electro recording artists for two sold-out performances at London's Wembley Arena. The historic line-up featured Grandmaster Flash, Cheese, Roxanne Shanté, World Class Wreckin’ Cru (Dr. Dre’s first European performance), Steady B alias MC Boob, The Real Roxanne + Hitman Howie Tee, Captain Rock, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Dr Jeckyll & Mr Hyde, Aleem with Leroy Burgess, Lovebug Starski, Hashim, Mantronix and Just-Ice. More than 15,000 people attended the two performances, creating what became a defining moment in British Hip Hop history and demonstrating beyond doubt that Electro and Hip Hop had become the sound of a new generation. The Promoter reserves the right to add, remove, substitute or otherwise amend any artist, performer or other participant appearing at the Event due to circumstances reasonably requiring such a change, including the cancellation, non-appearance or inability of an artist to perform. Your ticket is purchased for UK Fresh '26' as an event and not for the performance of any individual artist. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree that the advertised line-up may change and that the non-appearance of any individual artist shall not, of itself, entitle you to a refund, provided that the Event proceeds as scheduled.
